Hello, dear readers!
I hope you are enjoying the season wherever you are. Northern hemisphere wintery days or southern hemisphere summery fun.
Winter in DC is about as expected. We have had a few snow showers and one decent fall of about 8 inches which was great. Beau doesn’t enjoy falling snow but does seem to have fun once it’s on the ground.
We have been riding high since getting our CGC in December and have enjoyed some longs walks through the surrounding neighborhoods with Beau’s dog friend.
We’ve also continued to work on our skills in preparation for any CD trial we enter in the near future and have been perfecting some tricks for our upcoming TKN test. We also recently wrapped up our nose work classes and looking forward to the next series.
Beau continues to mature and is better able to control his exuberance when he sees a dog. He loves to meet dogs and wants to play with all of them but is learning when that is acceptable and when he needs to work. Slow and steady progress is the name of the game. It is hard to believe this boy is already 18 months. Time really does fly.
Peace, love, and paw prints,
Beau sporting one of his custom fleeces from Made By Meadowcat!
