Early spring is my favorite season. Cool air, colorful blossoms, and the chance of soft rain. Of course we walk daily but whenever I get the chance, I like to take a longer walk to really take in the city we love so much.
The past two weekends, we have had enjoyed some wonderful outings. We had a pack walk with all the good dogs along the CapitalCrescentTrail! Hosted by our trainer, who has these monthly, we we got to see our friends Pinto Bean, Henry, Lilly, Hadley, and we got to meet Bodhi!
At the midpoint of the walk, we all got to experience a kid bouncing by on pogo stick, which was a first for Beau (and maybe all the other dogs?).
Henry’s human treated us to delicious cookies, and Pinto’s human had a pop-up shop for her great dog bandanas. Of course, Beau got 3 new bandanas, including one to wear to celebrate the cherry blossoms!
After all that fun, he got a hamburger at McDs. What good doggos!! We enjoy structured pack walks because it gives Beau a lot of enrichment since he has to use his nose to suss out the other dogs and we get to explore a new area.
Of course, after such a great day he was exhausted. My best boy.

Then, a few days ago Beau and I got to explore the woods of Rock Creek by ourselves and he got to enjoy some off leash time. Such a gorgeous time of year to enjoy with my gorgeous boy.
