I cannot believe how time is flying!!! My handsome boy turned two, so of course, I set up the studio equipment and took his formal birthday portraits. Who’s a handsome boy?

We have done so much together this year and it is amazing to see him learn new things all the time. He is healthy and happy, at a great weight and I have his first echocardiogram and Holter scheduled for February (the soonest we could get in) since Dobermans are notorious for having (and dying from) Dilated Cardio Myopathy (DCM). There is no cure, but early diagnosis can mean a much easier go of things. It is recommended to start annual testing at two, but my vet feels that we will be okay with a February 2023 test.

When it comes to our title chasing, I am confident we will get our CD title this summer and look forward to a lifetime full of adventures with this sweet baby.

It doesn’t really matter what we do, as long as we have fun. Every day is made better with this little weirdo by my side.
