Beau and I are ready for cooler weather, whenever that happens. We continue to work on walking nicely in the neighborhood and, we started our advanced obedience class! We’ve been to 2 classes so far and it is no joke! The trainer is fantastic and not there to fool around, which I appreciate!

Once again, I am taking training from Academy Dog Training out in Silver Spring and so pleased with the trainers, the structure, and the approach. We work hard and we get homework, which I love! It has been great to get back to working a dog for obedience. Any faults we have are mine alone as Beau is a champ in class!

Each day on our walks, I make a point to do some training and some wandering to let Beau check out the smells and sounds. We have also been practicing long leash and some off-leash.
