We had a few busy weeks leading up to the start of the year-end holiday season.

Beau and I got back to class after a few weeks off. He looked great – sharp heeling, lots of good focus, and we were really in sync!

We got together with our private trainer for one last pack walk before she moves across the country. It was fun to work on our skills with friends in the dark as it added an element of novelty.

Day-to-day, Beau helped me run some errands and ‘earned his keep’ carrying home some of our purchases. Working on his skills everyday gives me purpose and I think he enjoys it, too. He looks so proud carrying his pack…although I am on the lookout for a larger one, so please leave your reccomendations in the comments.

We even got to enjoy the first snowfall of the season while cozy at home! I love this time of year – the cloudier, the better.
