The leaves have just started to turn. The colors aren’t coming through yet, but the light is different – thinner – and the foliage is getting that rusty sort of tinge.

Beau and I have been spending more time in the woods the past few weeks and recently enjoyed a perfectly quiet walk through Rock Creek. I gave him a little off-leash time but for the most part, he was content to stick close to me. It was a wonderful way to send a couple of hours.
