The Washington National Cathedral recently held its annual Blessing of the Animals and I was fortunate to take Beau. It was a beautiful sunny day and we were honored and (truly) blessed to be part of the event.

Beau was such a good boy taking it all in even with all the activity and the “song of the hounds” playing nearby. He was a perfect gentleman and got a blessing and under chin chucks as well as saying hello to some Poodles (both toy and Standard) from our neighborhood. It was a meaningful and wonderful event.

Thank you to the organizers, the clergy, the photographers and all others who made the event possible, especially Canon Jan who gave Beau his blessings and some extra good scritches. ❤️
