Beau Takes a Long Walk

I recently took a few days of time off to get some things done around the house without the distraction of work and that allowed Beau and I some time to get in a few long walks and days of aimless wandering about town. One day we walked over to the National Zoo and had a grand afternoon taking in the busyness of Connecticut Avenue. Another day, we had a great time strolling around Georgetown. It’s always fun to play ‘backyard tourist’ – a term I thought up to describe someone who enjoys all their location has to offer; all the things to see and do in “their own backyard”. Here are some photos of what we saw. Thanks for stopping by!

Making our pilgrimage to Vace for a perfect slice of pizza!

The 2024 edition of RoboDobe 🙂 seen between two Transformers. Interestingly, the owner of these has to remove them as per the city council. This fracas even got a write-up in the Daily Telegraph!
