We recently lost power, due to a severe storm, for about 36 hours. Beau took it all in stride, but I was happy to have him keep me company as we navigated the dark hallways. I also put him to work, which he loves, by having him carry glow sticks that I scattered in each hallway on each level of the building to help as much as I could (emergency lights are on batteries that die after 6 to 8 hours). After we added some illumination, Beau helped me carry home some provisions from the local drugstore. Such a good helper!!
