Happy Birthday to my sweet sweet doggo!!

I am amazed at how quickly time passes. He recently had is annual check-up and everything looks good. A couple of numbers in his bloodwork that we are watching but nothing worrisome. He has his second annual echo/holter scheduled for January. He is fit and trim and looking good.

We are deep into training for our CDX. Still planning on starting the run in March 2024 and getting lots of experts assistance from some accomplished obedience folks, including a big Doberman muckety-muck who has been kind enough to spend time with us on several occasions. He seems to really enjoy working and charms most everyone he meets. Beau will have his TKA test in the next week and that will achieve our summer title goal. 

He’s been ”helping” me teach class and just helped me evaluate some dogs for the CGC over the weekend. He was a very good boy but a bit dramatic while waiting on his place cot. At least those testing found it amusing. 🙂 

Every day, I thank my lucky stars for all this boy has done for me. Even the challenges have been valuable and I cherish him more every day. I am hoping for years more full of everyday adventures.

For his annual birthday photos, I wanted to change things up so I went for a low key look emphasizing shadows and depth and I think it captures his gravitas (which comes and goes 🤣🤣).
