July has been all about getting in practice for Beau and me, when it comes to the CDX, or Open, skills required for trial. Last year, when we got our CD title I stated that I would work on CDX skills for 18 months before we trialed in Open competition. So far, I have kept my word even though there are days when all the skills look so good that I want to enter sooner. 😁

But, I am still of a mind to take our time and really get Beau polished with all the skills because, for anyone who has ever gone into a show ring, you know that anything can happen. If we are perfect in practice, odds are that we will be okay in the ring.

Anyway, Beau has gotten practice in before and after the classes I teach at the local kennel club, as well as when we go for walks, or are just hanging out at home. Here are some recent photos and videos of our training sessions. Enjoy!
